ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood beach volleyball earned five Ohio Valley Conference all-conference selections during the 2025 season including two pairs on second team. The five honorees also marks the most selections by a Lions' team in their three-year history as a program.
Abby Jacobs and
Annalie McWhorter were the first pair honored as they made the All-OVC second team. The primary number one pair for the Lions to end the season, Jacobs and McWhorter posted a 15-8 record together including 5-2 at the one pair and 10-6 at the twos. Against OVC schools, the duo posted an overall record of 6-4 including a 4-2 record at the ones. In their last 10 matches, they finished with a 7-3 record.
Nyah Wilson and
Katie Bockhorst were also selected to the All-OVC Second Team. Despite playing only six matches together in the twos, Wilson and Bockhorst have posted a 4-2 record together and are 3-2 against OVC competition. As individuals, Wilson finished the regular season with an 11-12 overall record but went 5-2 in the twos. Bockhorst was 15-9 overall going 5-2 at the twos and 10-7 in the threes.
Kaelyn Putz was the final Lion to earn All-OVC honors as she made the All-OVC Freshman team. In her first season at Lindenwood, Putz has put together a 10-7 overall record going 1-0 in the twos and 9-7 in the threes. Putz played all her matches with Bockhorst this season.
Lindenwood will now prepare for the OVC Championships starting on Thursday, April 24th when they battle #5 Tennessee Tech in the opening round at 9:00 a.m. CT. For more information go to lindenwoodlions.com.
