Former Lindenwood football standout
Cameron Cooper has earned a mini camp invite from the Denver Broncos following the NFL Draft, which will take place from May 8-10.
Cooper made an immediate impact on the Lindenwood offensive line this past season after transferring in from Colorado State. The Aurora, Colo. native started all 12 games this past season at right guard and earned second-team All-Big South-OVC in the process. He was part of an offensive line that helped the Lions lead the association in rushing yards per game at 173.7.
Cooper also earned postseason honors from Phil Steele being named to the third team all-conference after the season. Cooper's dad, Mark was drafted by Denver in 1983 and played parts of five seasons with the Broncos.
