The Lindenwood baseball team (27-28, 14-12 OVC) fell on senior day to Southern Indiana (27-28, 14-12 OVC) by a score of 5-4 from Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Mo.
GAME OVERVIEW
Southern Indiana scored a pair of runs in the top of the first to take a 2-0 lead. USI plated one more in the fourth to go up 3-0. That remained the score until the sixth when Lindenwood brought three across to tie the game. After a pair of walks to begin the inning,
Jake Radosevich brought
Charlie Isom-McCall and
Kam Edwards home with a double to left. Later in the inning,
Filip Sarota pushed Radosevich across with a sac fly, tying the game at three.
In the seventh, the Lions used a two-out rally that began with an Edwards single followed by an Isom-McCall double and the Black and Gold took a 4-3 lead. Southern Indiana began the eighth with three-straight hits to tie the game at four. The Screaming Eagles regained the lead with a two-out hit in the ninth to go ahead 5-4.
Lindenwood couldn't push the tying run across in the ninth and fell in the regular season finale, 5-4.
