The Ohio Valley Conference released the Men's Soccer Preseason poll today with the Lions being picked to finish third. Lindenwood had 67 points in the preseason poll, with Houston Christian (69) and SIUE (98) finishing just ahead of them. Rounding out the teams include Liberty (64), Incarnate Word (55), Western Illinois (39), Eastern Illinois (37), and Southern Indiana (18). 

The OVC also released the Players to Watch for the upcoming season which features Lindenwood Forward Sebastia Cerda Tous, a transfer from Catawba College. Cerda Tous scored six goals in back-to-back seasons in 2022 and 2023 and was named to the All-Conference Team twice during his time at Catawba. He has 33 career points with 15 goals and three assists in three seasons with the Indians. 

The season opener for the Men's Soccer squad is one week from today as they will travel to Chicago State. Kickoff is scheduled for 12 p.m.
