ST. CHARLES, Mo. – Lindenwood University Athletics is proud to announce the brand new Lindenwood Varsity Club – a free and interactive way to help stay connected to the LU Athletics family as we enter a new chapter in our program's history.
Throughout Lindenwood's existence, countless Lions have enjoyed success on and off the field at the Student-Life Sport, NAIA, Division II and Division I level. The promise of the Varsity Club is to identify and reunite everyone who has participated in athletics at Lindenwood University.
"I'm excited to see the Lindenwood Varsity Club finally take shape as it's long overdue," said Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics Jason Coomer. "We owe so much to our former student-athletes whose success laid the very foundation for where we stand today. To those who have remained actively engaged, thank you for continuing to be a part of our athletics family. And to those who may not have been as involved as they'd hoped, it's time for you to come home. We can't wait to welcome you back."
Our mission is to unite all of Lindenwood's former athletic participants (student-athletes, coaches, staff, trainers, etc.) in a community that blends great traditions of the past, present and future. We love seeing former Lindenwood alum at games and events throughout the community and welcome all to return to the St. Charles, Mo. area.
"The Varsity Club will serve as a way to bring athletes back to campus, strengthen connections within our athletics community, and celebrate what it means to be a Lion for life," said Director of Athletic Advancement Tess Lovig. "Whether you competed in Student Life Sports, NAIA, NCAA Division II or Division I, this is your community and we're excited to welcome you back."
Sign-up is free and easy using the following link. Varsity Club members will have access to Athletics updates through emails and special invitations to games and events. By joining the Varsity Club, former Lions will have to opportunity to rekindle older friendships and reunite with past teammates and coaches.
