The Lindenwood women's soccer team concludes non-conference play this weekend with an away match at Indiana State.  It will be the first ever meeting between the Lions and Sycamores. Kickoff from Memorial Stadium is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood fell 1-0 against Southern Illinois last time out. The Lions took 21 shots in the first half, but were unable to find a score. Lindenwood was outshot 11-3 in the second half, with the Salukis scoring the go-ahead goal in the game's 52nd minute. Despite the loss, Caroline Ritter had another strong performance in net with eight saves.

Indiana State enters this weekend with an overall record of 4-3-2 following a 2-0 win over Green Bay on Thursday.

The Sycamores are 3-0-1 versus the OVC this season, with wins over SIUE (3-1), Western Illinois (3-0), and SEMO (5-0), along with a 1-1 draw against Eastern Illinois.

Indiana State has scored 29 goals this season for an average of 3.22 goals per game. Alex Lehnert leads the Sycamore offense with 18 points on eight goals and two assists. She is tied for third nationally in goals and fifth nationally in total points.

The Sycamores are giving up an average of 1.67 goals per game with a .712 save percentage.

Indiana State is led by third-year head coach Paul Lawrence.
