Last Time Out
The Lions tied their best start to a season since joining the NCAA in 2012 as they defeated Le Moyne College last Sunday by a score of 2-0. Quinn Closson recorded a season-high six saves during the game and also added his fourth shutout of the season. Lindenwood scored a goal in each half with the first goal coming in the 23rd minute. Luke Neely would score on a header off of a cross pass from Ethan Blake on a corner kick. The ball found Neely with a lot of traffic in the box, as he scored his first goal of the season to put the Lions in front 1-0.

Luca Bartoni scored the second goal of the game in the 57th minute as Closson and Harrison Hubert connected on a pass from the Lions goal line. Hubert made an incredible pass over the head of the Dolphin defender hitting Bartoni in stride. Bartoni shot the ball across his body moving to his right, and would score on the shot as the ball went off the hands of the Le Moyne goalkeeper.

Lindenwood improved to 7-0 on the season, which is tied for the most wins by a men's soccer program across the country during the 2025 season.
