The Lindenwood women's volleyball team opens Ohio Valley Conference play this weekend at Eastern Illinois. The Lions begin their conference schedule as the defending OVC Tournament Champions. Lindenwood is 4-2 all-time against the Panthers with a 1-1 record in Charleston. LU swept Eastern twice in Hyland Arena last season. This weekend's opening match is scheduled for Friday at 6:00 p.m., followed by match two on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

Lindenwood dropped both of their matches at the Hawkeye Invitational last weekend, falling 3-2 against East Texas A&M on Saturday before suffering a 3-0 defeat against Iowa on Sunday.
Autumn Bax was named to the All-Tournament team after recording a team-leading 23 kills for an average of 2.88 kills per set.
Ashley Geluck led the Lions in scoring with 27.5 points on 22 kills, three aces, and four blocks.
