Preview
The Lindenwood women's soccer team travels to Kentucky this weekend for their first OVC road match of the season at Morehead State. The Lions are 1-2-1 all-time against Eagles, with their first win coming in last season's OVC championship game, as Lindenwood prevailed 3-2 for the first conference title of the Division-I era. Sunday's match is scheduled to get underway at 12:00 p.m. CT.

Last Time Out
The Lions came up short in Thursday night's clash with UT Martin, falling 4-2. Lindenwood took a 2-1 lead into the break after first half goals from Mackenzie Compton and Allison Schrumpf but were unable to overcome a three-goal second half from the Skyhawks. WEEKLY ACCOLADE: Anna Johnson was named OVC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring the game winning goal against SEMO on Sunday. Johnson headed a free kick from Allison Schrumpf in the game's 64th minute that found its way past the SEMO goalkeeper and into the top left corner of the net.

Morehead State
The Eagles enter this weekend with an overall record of 3-8 and conference mark of 1-1-0 after suffering a 1-0 loss against Southern Indiana on Thursday. MSU has scored six goals this season while allowing 23 to their opponents. Kennedy Baquero leads the team in points (5) and goals (2). Goalkeeper Claire Cress has 59 saves with a save percentage of .738.
