Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Women's Hockey team swept the University of Delaware Blue Hens at Centene Community Ice Center to pick up their first home sweep in nearly two years last weekend.
Molly Henderson and
Tatiana Blichova led the way offensively for the Lions as each skater added a hat trick and had four total points in the weekend series against Delaware. Their performances led them both to be named the AHA Forward and Rookie of the Week respectively.
In Friday's 3-2 win, Henderson scored a goal in each period to get the Lions their first win of 2026 and registered her first career hat trick in her 112th career game played. Blichova followed Henderson's performance on Saturday with a hat trick of her own, scoring two of the Lions four goals in the first period as Lindenwood put the pressure on the Blue Hens early. The Freshman from Slovakia added her third goal of the game on an empty netter in the third period to record her first career hat trick and helped LU pick up their first sweep of the 2025-26 season in a 6-3 victory. The Lions won their second straight game for the first time this season and will look to keep the momentum going in this weekend's series at Syracuse.
