The Lindenwood Men's Basketball team improved to 7-2 this season following a loss with a 73-60 win on the road at Southern Indiana on Thursday night.

Anias Futrell, and
Milos Nenadic all scored in double figures for the Lions with Williams and Futrell each scoring 20+ points in the victory. Nenadic finished one rebound shy of recording a triple double as the Graduate Student scored 18 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and blocked 10 shots against the Screaming Eagles. LU used a 12-1 run in the later stages of the second half behind five points from Futrell and three points from Williams to help the Lions improve to 3-2 on the road in the OVC and 7-4 overall in the conference. Nenadic became the first Lindenwood Men's Basketball player in the NCAA Era to record 10 blocked shots in a single game and became the first player in the OVC this season to record 10 blocked shots in a game. His 10 blocked shots on Thursday night also ranks second in the country for blocks in a single game.Â

Since dropping the first matchup of the season in St. Charles, Morehead State has gone 6-2 over their last eight OVC games to put themselves in third place in the conference with a record of 8-3. The Eagles are currently on a four game winning streak and have been balanced offensively during their streak. Guards Davion Cunningham and George Marshall have been averaged 12.75 points per game over their last four games while Forward Anouar Mellouk has averaged 11.25. MSU has a home record of 5-1 during conference play and 8-1 overall this season which ranks second best among OVC teams this season.
