Lucie Quarto and Elina Zilliox To Represent France In 2026 Olympics

Lucie Quarto and Elina Zilliox from Lindenwood Women's Hockey have been selected by the France National Hockey Team as two of their blue liners for their 2026 Olympic squad. The games will begin on February 5 when France will take on Italy in Milano. France will also play on February 6 against Japan before ending their preliminary round on February 9 versus Germany. The quarterfinal round is set for February 13 and 14 followed by the semifinal round being on February 16 and the gold and bronze medal games scheduled for February 19.

"We are incredibly excited for Lucie and Elina to head to the Winter Olympics next month. They are both spectacular athletes, teammates, and people that make our program better every day with their work ethics and positive attitudes. We could not be prouder to see their hard work pay off, and we look forward to seeing them compete at such an incredible event come February. " said head coach Taylor Wasylk

Quarto has played in 22 games during the 2025-26 season and has recorded three points in her Junior campaign with the Lions. She has a shot percentage of .111 which ranks tied for fourth on the team and has blocked 21 shots on the season.

Meanwhile, Zilliox has appeared in two games for Lindenwood this season and made her season debut last weekend against Mercyhurst. As a Freshman, Zilliox skated in 27 games and compiled two assists with 17 shots on goal. She ranked sixth on the 2024-25 Lindenwood squad with 33 blocked shots last season.
