The Lindenwood Men's Soccer team added another point to their OVC standings total on Sunday afternoon, earning their second draw of the 2026 conference season with a 1-1 result against Houston Christian. The Lions kept the Huskies in check throughout the contest, limiting them to just one shot on goal and four shots overall. Houston Christian grabbed a 1-0 lead in the 71st minute, but Lindenwood responded just four minutes later when OVC Defender of the Week Clement Baron scored his first goal of the season. Baron headed home a corner kick delivered by Eddy Mwanje in the 75th minute to level the match at 1-1 and helped the Lions secure an important point in the conference standings.

Lindenwood now has five points in conference play and currently sits in third place behind SIUE and Eastern Illinois, who are both 2-1 in OVC action. The Lions and Huskies are the only two teams remaining in the OVC without a conference loss.
