The Lindenwood women's basketball team (18-7, 10-4 OVC) welcomes the UT Martin Skyhawks (13-10, 9-5 OVC) for a Thursday night matchup inside Hyland Arena, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The Lions are coming off a dominant 92-54 road win last Thursday against Little Rock in which six players scored in double figures. The Black and Gold had another 50-40-90 shooting night from the field, picking up their 18th win of the season and 10th victory inside conference play, something that has now been down in back-to-back seasons.

Lindenwood had five or more players score in double figures for the second consecutive game.
Alyssa Nielsen with 16 points off the bench, scoring 10 or more points for just the third time this season. The Bixby, Okla. native made a career-high four three pointers in the win over the Trojans. Overall, the Lions shot 42 percent from three-point range in the win, including 9-of-16 in the first half.

This season, the Black and Gold are connecting at a 39.1 percent clip from beyond the arc, which ranks fourth best in all of Division I. Lindenwood has seven players shooting above 30 percent from deep, led by
Ellie Brueggemann at 44.9 percent, which ranks 14th nationally. Brueggemann was one of three Lions to finish with 11 points against Little Rock along with
Gracie Kelsey and
Aleshia Jones.

The Lions shot 56 percent from the field in the victory over Little Rock, shooting above 50 percent for the 10th time this season and are 9-1 in such games with the only loss coming on the road at UT Martin on January 17. So far this season, Lindenwood is making shots at a 47 percent clip, which ranks 18th nationally.

Lindenwood shared the wealth last Thursday, picking up a season high 25 assists on 31 made field goals. Brueggemann along with
Brooke Coffey had six dimes apiece. So far this season, the Lions are averaging 16.2 assists per game, tops in the OVC and 50th nationally. Lindenwood also had a plus-1.22 assist to turnover ratio which ranks 29th in the country.

Mya Skoff had another solid game, finishing with 15 points, while making three shots from beyond the arc and going a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line. The Lions went 18-of 19 from the charity stripe as a team. On the year, Lindenwood is shooting 76.6 percent from the line, ranking 35th in the nation.
