It was announced this week that Lindenwood football offensive line coach Hunter Harris has been named a Coach on the Rise by Our Coaching Network

In his first season guiding the offensive line in 2025, Coach Harris mentored four of the six starting offensive linemen to All-Conference honors. Gavin Hulet earned Mid-Season Third-Team All-American recognition from Phil Steele, along with First-Team Offensive Lineman accolades from both the OVC-Big South and Phil Steele's OVC-Big South selections. Drew Swingle secured Third-Team All-American honors from Phil Steele, while Nate Compere and Tony Failla were named Fourth-Team Offensive Linemen by Phil Steele in the OVC-Big South.

Under Harris's guidance, the Lions were 1st in two major offensive line categories. The Lions lead the conference in rushing touchdowns during conference play with 20 and allowed the fewest sacks at 14 - cutting the previous season (2024) total in half (from 30) and improving from their eighth-place ranking in that category.

Lindenwood finished the 2024 season with a 6-6 record, including a 5-3 mark inside OVC-Big South play.
