Last Time Out
The Lions fell 73-61 to SEMO on Saturday on their home floor. Despite Anias Futrell and Milos Nenadic both scoring 20+ points in the contest, the Redhawks scored 47 second half points and shot 56% from the floor to hand the Lions their fourth home loss of the 2025-26 season. Lindenwood will now hit the road for their final two game road trip of the season as the Lions will take on Tennessee State on Thursday followed by Tennessee Tech on Saturday. LU split with TSU and TTU at home last month as they took down TTU 89-68 and fell to TSU 86-96. 

Scouting The Tigers
Tennessee State has the top two overall scorers in the OVC this season in Travis Harper II and Aaron Nkrumah who are both averaging 17+ points per game. The duo combined for 50 points in their last game at Morehead State, but the Tigers fell on the road to the Eagles by a score of 94-86. During conference play, Harper II leads the Tigers in scoring averaging 19.3 points per game and has scored in double figures in all but one OVC game. In the first matchup of the season against Lindenwood, Harper scored a game-high 30 points and made 13 shots from the field shooting 61.9% from the floor and 40% from the three point line. The Redshirt Senior Guard is making 45.7% of his three point attempts in conference play which leads the OVC.

  • Dontrez Williams ranks 6th in the nation in steals per game this season averaging 2.65 steals per game. 
  • The Lions are the only team in the OVC this season to have three players rank in the top 10 overall in scoring. (Anias Futrell (17.3), Jadis Jones (16.2), and Dontrez Williams (14.8) )
  • Jadis Jones is second overall in the OVC in rebounding this season grabbing just over eight rebounds per game. 
  • Lindenwood has 120 blocked shots on the season, which is second best in the Ohio Valley Conference.
