Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Women's Hockey team won their first postseason game since March 2, 2017 with a 3-1 win over Robert Morris at Centene Community Ice Center last Saturday. Zsofia Pazmandi, Silje Gundersen, and Michaela Paulinyova each scored a goal for the Lions to help clinch a spot into the AHA Semifinal round at Mercyhurst. Sophomore goaltender Madison Bowtell stopped 31 of 32 shots that she faced in the AHA quarterfinal round, posting a save percentage of .969 which led to her being named the AHA Goaltender of the week on Tuesday afternoon. Josey Dunne-Weeks also had an impactful performance against the Colonials, putting her body on the line two different times to deny RMU of scoring a goal.

Lindenwood will now look to build off of their momentum as they will take on the #2 seed Mercyhurst Lakers beginning tomorrow afternoon at 2 p.m. CT.

About Mercyhurst
Since the start of January, the Lakers have a record of 10-1-1 with their only loss during that stretch coming to Penn State on Mercyhurst's home ice. MU has swept Lindenwood, Delaware, RIT, and Robert Morris during the second half and have been one of the hottest teams in the AHA aside from Lindenwood and Penn State. Mercyhurst has three skaters who have over 30 points on the 2025-26 season and are led by Redshirt Freshman Julia Perjus who has 36 points and 15 goals scored on the season to lead the team. In goal, both of the Lakers goaltenders have a combined GAA of 1.94 and have each won the AHA goaltender of the week awards several different times this season. Magdalena Luggin has appeared in 28 games and has made 749 saves to go along with 15 wins, while Tara Bach has six wins in eight games played and has GAA of .90 in just under 400 minutes played.
