GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Greensboro Gargoyles of the ECHL have announced the signing of former Lindenwood men's hockey player Drew Kuzma. The 2025-26 captain joins former Lindenwood teammates David Gagnon and Artyom Borshyov, who have been staples in the Gargoyle lineup this season.

Kuzma was a four-year member of the Lindenwood men's hockey program, becoming the first LU skater to play in 100 career games with 116 total appearances.  He registered 31 points on 12 goals and 19 assists, including a career-high 4-6-10 as a sophomore during the 2023-24 campaign. Kuzma was named team captain prior to the 2025-26 season, leading the Lions to a program record 15 wins.

Founded in 2025, the Greensboro Gargoyles are an official affiliate to the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) and the Chicago Wolves (AHL). They compete in the ECHL, which has produced over 750 NHL players since its founding in 1988.
