The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Aleshia Jones and Brooke Coffey from Lindenwood women's basketball earned this honor as announced on Tuesday.

Jones is a sociology major and carries a perfect 4.0 GPA in the classroom. The graduate guard has made an instant impact this season after transferring to the program. A native of Leavenworth, Kan., Jones leads the team averaging 15 points per game and has had 26 double figure scoring games, which leads the team. The graduate guard has been named OVC Newcomer of the Week five different times during the year.

Jones has also been a stalwart on the defensive end, pulling down an average of 4.7 rebounds per game, while leading the team in steals with 80, which is a Lindenwood single-season record. Her 2.4 steals per game rank third in the OVC.

For her efforts during the regular season, Jones was tabbed to the OVC Second and Newcomer Teams.

Coffey has been as steady as they come during her junior season averaging 13.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. She has posted a team-high nine double doubles on the year and is shooting 52 percent from the field which is the top mark in the OVC. Her 7.9 rebounds per game is currently fourth in the conference. She was tabbed a First Team All-Conference selection.

The St. Charles, Mo. native was named the OVC Player of the Week two times during the regular season as she posted a career high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting while grabbing nine wins at SIUE on January 6. Coffey has knocked down threes at a near 40 percent clip while shooting 71 percent from the charity stripe.
