LEADING OFF
The Lindenwood baseball team dips back into non-conference play with the first half of a home-and-home series at St. Louis on Tuesday evening. The Lions are 2-6 all-time and losers of five straight against the Billikens, with the two teams playing annually since Lindenwood made the move to Division-I in 2023. First pitch of Tuesday night's contest is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
- Lindenwood swept Western Illinois over the weekend to secure their second consecutive OVC series win.
- The Lions were boosted by great pitching all weekend, only allowing a total of 5 runs over three games. Josh Newell and Seth Benes both went eight innings in games one and two, with Newell giving up two runs with three strikeouts in a 3-2 win on Friday before Benes gave up just one run on four hits with eight strikeouts in Saturday's 4-1 victory.
- Lindenwood took game three in 14 innings on Sunday, tying the program's Division-I record for longest game. William Zareh walked the game off with a base hit up the middle that allowed Charlie Isom-McCall to score from second. It was his second walk-off hit of the season.
- Lucas Niemeyer gave up just one run through the games first 5.1 innings before Aaron Jungers ate up the next 5.2 frames while allowing just one additional score. Easton Rakers got the win after tossing three shutout innings to end the game.
- Will Geary had a strong series at the plate, batting .462 (6-13) with a triple and three RBIs. He recorded two multi-hit performances, including a 3-4, two-RBI showing in game one.
