OMAHA, Neb. – The Lindenwood women's soccer team (2-3-1) played Omaha (1-1-2) to a scoreless draw on the road on Sunday morning. Scoring opportunities were limited, with a total of four shots on goal recorded in the match.
The two teams combined for just one shot before the first half hydration break. The Lions remained without an attempt until
Sophia Mueller turned a shot on target in the 45th minute, but the ball was safely handled by the Omaha goalkeeper.
Lindenwood registered three total shots in the second half but were unable to put another shot on goal. Meanwhile,
Caroline Ritter made two saves in the period to secure her second shutout of the season and the 20th clean sheet of her career.
