The Lindenwood Men's Soccer team picked up their first road win of the 2026 season last Friday night with a 2-0 win over Big East opponent Butler behind two second half goals coming off the feet of
Philip Viberg Rasmussen and
Luca Bartoni. The Lions were able to hold the Bulldogs to six shots in the contest, which marked the fewest shots allowed by Lindenwood's defense on the road this season.
Quinn Closson also added his second cleansheet of the season making three total saves, while
Luke Neely made several big defensive plays against Butler to help the Lions pick up their third shutout through five games played in 2026.Â
