Defensive Player of the Week
Peyton Johnson was tabbed as Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week following another strong performance on the Lindenwood backline last week. Johnson played the entire 90 minutes for the Lions at Southern Illinois on Thursday, anchoring a Lindenwood defense that allowed just one goal. The Lions surrendered a total of seven shots in the contest while limiting the Salukis to just three attempts on target.
