The Lindenwood cross country programs began its 2026 season at the Redhawks Invitational on Friday in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Both squads came in third place overall.

Isaac Ndiwa posted a time of 12:41.3 and earned the top spot in the men's 4K. He was followed by Eliezer Mateo Santiago with a time of 13:35.7 and Mitchell Barth 13:36.7. Three Lions made their Lindenwood debut, including Anthony Lillis who finished in 13:39.6. Jack Hutson came in just behind him with a time of 13:45.9 and Cademon Oxford rounded out the lineup at 14:55.9.

The top finisher on the women's side was Kensington Curd in eighth with a time of 11:19.0. The 3K continued with Kadence Berry coming in 12^th at 11:42.2, followed by Anna Drochelman, 11:53.3, Makenna Smith 11:58.6, Olivia Pearce 11:59.5, Cadyce Shipman 12:42.4, and Abby Anderson 14:05.2.
