Lindenwood:
2009- Second-team All-HAAC and honorable mention All-American ... started all 14 games ... ranked second in the NAIA in pass efficiency (178.9), and 15th in passing (241.5) and total offensive yards (256.9) per game ...  threw 36 touchdown passes and just six interceptions ... completed 67.5 percent of his passes ... set Lindenwood’s single season passing touchdown record and has the second-most passing yards for a season ... had nine games with three or more touchdown passes, including a season-high four against Culver-Stockton ... had three games with 300 or more passing yards, including a season-high 382 against Carroll ... rushed for 215 yards and six touchdowns ... twice has two rushing touchdowns in a game, and had a season-high 46 rushing yards against Benedictine ... led Lindenwood to two final minute game-winning drives in wins over Missouri Valley and Carroll ... against Missouri Valley, led Lindenwood on a nine-play, 68 yard drive that ended with Staback passing to Matt Bramow for the game-winning touchdown with 19.2 seconds remaining ... against Carroll, led the Lions on a five-play, 88 yard drive that ended on another touchdown pass to Bramow with 55 seconds remaining ... over the last 11 games, completed 70.6 percent of his passes and had a 9.7:1 touchdown-to-interception ratio ... in the playoffs, completed 66.7 percent of his passes for 962 yards, 11 touchdowns and one interception. 

San Diego Mesa College:
In 2008, threw for 2,166 yards and 28 touchdowns at San Diego Mesa College ... completed 54.5 percent of his passes and had 11 interceptions ... rushed for 225 yards and five touchdowns ... helped the team win six of its final seven games ... offensive MVP ... conference player of the year ... first-team all-conference.

High School:
As a senior in high school, threw for 2,800 yards and 29 touchdowns, and rushed for six touchdowns ... team MVP ... offensive captain ... first-team all-county.

Personal:
The son of John Staback and Vicky Barnes ... has four siblings: John, Vanessa, Ryne and Ross ... a criminal justice major.
