Lindenwood University Athletics

Lindenwood:
2014- Started the first three games of the season … recorded eight tackles on the season … had a season-high six tackles in the season opener against Washburn … had two tackles on rushing plays, five on passing plays, and one on kickoff coverage … in Washburn’s final drive, he recorded one tackle and one pass breakup to help the Lions hold on for the win.

2013- Did not see action during the season … was named the Scout Defensive Player of the Week for the week of the Central Missouri contest.

Prior to Lindenwood:
A member of the NCAA Division I FCS SIU-Carbondale program for the past three seasons … after redshirting the 2010 season, he has appeared in 14 games over his two years there … recorded seven tackles and one fumble recovery … twice received the team’s Massive Mule Award in 2010 which honors the rookie with the most outstanding week of strength training.

High School:
Second-team all-State … second-team all-Metro … named Lombardo’s Most Inspirational player … team MVP … ABC league MVP … first-team all-district … as a senior, rushed for 1,382 yards and 27 touchdowns, and intercepted four passes … set school single-season records for all-purpose yards, rushing yards, and touchdowns … also lettered in track and helped his 4x400 relay team finish second at state.

Personal:
The son of Carlethia Lewis … has one sibling, Dion … an exercise science major.
