Lindenwood:
Career- Has appeared in 25 games, including 13 starts, prior to the 2016 season … has recorded 61 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, two pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

2015- Honorable mention all-MIAA … named the team’s Defensive Player of the Week against Northeastern State, earned the team’s Hammer award versus Nebraska-Kearney, and won the team’s Hard Hat accolade versus Fort Hays … started all 11 contests … second on the team with 11.0 tackles for loss and was third on the team with 4.0 sacks … led the team with 51 yards lost on tackles for loss … eighth on the squad with 43 total tackles … recorded at least two tackles in every game … had season-high of six tackles, five solo tackles, and 4.5 tackles for loss against Northeastern State … had a season-best 1.5 sacks against Nebraska-Kearney … recovered a fumble against Washburn … on a fourth-down play versus Nebraska-Kearney, had a sack and forced fumble which was recovered by the Lions … had at least an assisted tackles for loss in eight of the 11 games … recorded a pass breakup versus Emporia State … during Missouri Southern’s final drive against Lindenwood, assisted on a sack that forced Missouri Southern back to its three-yard line … also blocked a kick in that contest … had 33 of his 43 tackles on running plays.
 
2014- Appeared in six games and started the Pittsburg State contest … recorded eight tackles, including seven solo stops … had seven tackles on running plays and one on a pass play … recorded 2.0 tackles for loss … had a season-high three tackles against both Washburn and Fort Hays State … all three tackles against Washburn were solo tackles … had a pass breakup against Missouri Western.

2013- Appeared in eight games and started the final game of the season … recorded 10 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack … nine of his tackles came on running plays … had a season-high four tackles, all solo stops, against Lincoln … also had 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack in that game … his sack came on a third-and-seven play in the fourth quarter versus Lincoln … all 10 tackles he made were solo tackles.

2012- Redshirted.

High School:
Three-time all-district selection, including first-team honors as a senior ... first-team all-area ... a powerlifting regional qualifier.

The son of Stephanie and Emerson Taylor Jr. ... has two siblings, Derrick and Lindsey ... a biology and chemistry major.
