Prior to Lindenwood:
A transfer from Fort Lewis … played one season at the quarterback position … completed 20-of-29 passes for 529 yards … threw for six touchdowns and had no interceptions … rushed 65 times for 415 yards and six touchdowns … also caught six passes for 17 yards, and returned two kickoffs for 21 yards and one touchdown … punted 31 times and averaged 42.3 yards per punt … had nine punts of 50 yards or more, and eight inside the 20-yard line … named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns, rushing for 157 yards and one touchdown, and having a 45-yard kickoff return touchdown versus Chadron State … also played at Scottsdale Community College and Phoenix Community College … first-team All-WSFL … second-team All-American as a punter.
 
High School:
An all-state punter … third-team all-state quarterback … also all-region and all-district punter.
