Internships

The Lindenwood University Athletic Performance Department is looking to fill 3-4 Athletic Performance Intern Coach positions for Fall 2018. Positions require a 16-week commitment. These positions are unpaid, but offer experience, education, and an opportunity to fulfill course credits. The purpose of the internship program is to help educate and develop aspiring athletic performance coaches in all aspects of sport performance development. Successful candidates will begin around the first week of August 2018. Preferred candidates should be working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in or related to Exercise Science.

Graduate Assistantships

The Lindenwood University Athletic Performance Department is now accepting applications to fill a position for the Fall of 2018. This is a Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach position (official job title is Athletic Performance Coach, student employee). The position is paying $16.00 per hour, 40 hours per week for 40 weeks.

The Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach will be responsible for various sports as assigned by the Director of Athletic Performance. We are considering candidates who possess the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field, CSCS or SCCC, and a CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Experience with all elements of strength & conditioning at the collegiate level is preferred. The deadline for application is March 18, 2018.
