Lindenwood ended the 2019 season with a 28-25 overall record and an 18-15 mark in MIAA action.  The Lions earned two wins over ranked opponents, including a 5-1 win over then-No. 1 Augustana.  Lindenwood hit .296 as a team which ranked second-best in the MIAA through 53 games played.  The Lions ranked third in the conference in runs (345), triples (16), and RBI (310).  Meier helped the success of nine players earning all-MIAA honors, including DJ Miller who was named first-team all-MIAA as an outfielder.  Miller ranked fifth in the MIAA with a .372 batting average and fifth in the league with 16 doubles.
 
Meier has played an important part in the pitching staff earning three spots earning all-MIAA honors.  Kyle Hentis was named to the second-team all-MIAA, while Blake Beckmann and Eric Hipp earned honorable-mention recognition.  Hentis was a quality arm for the Lions in 2019, as he posted a 3.47 ERA in his 85.2 innings pitched.  Beckmann threw 78.2 innings and posted a 3.78 ERA, while striking out 73 batters.  Hipp worked hard during his time at Lindenwood, and it paid off in 2019 as he registered a 1.68 ERA in his 21 appearances.
