Biography

Lindenwood:
2021- Played in two games… totaled 10 tackles… tallied five tackles against Angelo State and South Dakota State

2020 – Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2019 – Played in 13 games, while starting in eight … ranked sixth on the team with 46 tackles … compiled 29 solo stops with 17 assisted tackles … picked off two passes and tallied three pass breakups … made a season-high seven tackles against Eastern Washington … intercepted a pass against Missouri S&T, leading to a Lindenwood touchdown … made four tackles and broke up two passes against Quincy.

2018 – Played in 10 games and made three starts in the defensive backfield … tallied 16 tackles including 10 solo … had one interception with one pass breakup … registered one tackle for loss … had a season-high six tackles with four solos and 0.5 tackles for loss against Northwest Missouri State … had a key interception against Northeastern State and returned it for 24 yards … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2017- Appeared in all 11 games … made three tackles, including two solo tackles … had three tackles on kickoff coverage … all three tackles came versus Central Missouri, holding the Mules to just 11.0 yards per return on those kicks.
 
2016- Redshirted … named the Defensive Scout Player of the Week for the Northeastern State contest … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
High School:
A two-time all-conference defensive back .. earned all-district honors as a junior … member of a conference championship team in 2014 … had four interceptions his last two seasons, and returned two for touchdowns … had 45 tackles as a junior and 15 as a senior … also played quarterback as a senior for seven games, and recorded 636 passing yards, 423 rushing yards, and 10 total touchdowns … earned the team’s Leadership Award as a senior … an all-state track performer in the 4x200 and 4x400 races … won the 4x200 district championship as a junior and the 4x400 title as a junior and senior … named the track team’s Outstanding Male Athlete as a senior.

Personal:
The son of Lamonya and Lloyd Lockett … has two siblings, Lukas and Lamar … an exercise science major.
