Biography

Lindenwood:
Career- Has appeared in 20 contests and started each of them … enters the 2017 season with 114 career tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, seven interceptions, 18 pass breakups, one fumble recovery, and one blocked kick … had returned 35 kicks for 744 yards, an average of 21.3 yards per return … had 219 interception return yards, and 970 all-purpose yards … had four touchdowns, with three interception return scores and one fumble return touchdown.
 
2016- Third-team all-MIAA defensive back … earned three weekly team awards, including the Defensive Player of the Week once and the Special Teams Player of the Week once … started in all 10 games that he appeared in … led the MIAA in passes defended and interceptions … ranked third in NCAA Division II with 2.0 passes defended a game, and seventh with 0.6 interceptions per game … set school single-season records with two interception return touchdowns, 14 pass breakups, and 20 passes defended … recorded six interceptions on the season, tying for the second-most in program history … was also second with 174 interception return yards on the year … ranked fifth on the team with 60 tackles, and was fourth with 50 solo tackles … had 3.0 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery … returned 15 kickoffs for 345 yards … his 23.0 average tied for the sixth-highest in program history for a year, and it ranked sixth in the MIAA … was sixth on the team with 526 all-purpose yards … had one punt return for seven yards … named the MIAA and National Player of the Week for his performance in the season-opening win over Central Oklahoma … set a Lindenwood record in that game with three interceptions, and set a MIAA and school record with two interception return touchdowns … he also had five tackles and five pass breakups in that contest … his first touchdown, which was 45 yards, put the Lions up by two possessions midway through the third quarter, and his second, which was a 60-yard return, sealed the 49-26 victory … his 123 interception return yards were the second-most in school history for a game, two behind the record … had a season-high 10 tackles versus Northwest Missouri … intercepted two passes, both in the redzone, against Nebraska-Kearney … intercepted a pass in the endzone versus Central Missouri … recovered a fumble in the fourth quarter of the win over Missouri Southern, and returned it 39 yards for his third defensive touchdown of the season … had 153 kickoff return yards against Missouri Western, which set a new school record … had a season-long return of 43 yards in that contest … recorded five or more tackles in every game but two … had at least one pass breakup in six contests … had 12 plays of 20-yards or longer, including eight on kickoff returns, three on interception returns, and one on a fumble return.
 
2015- Honorable mention all-MIAA … named the team’s Defensive Player of the Game in the win over Washburn … started and appeared in 10 games … sixth on the team with 54 tackles and third with 45 solo stops … had five pass defended with one interception and four pass breakups … also blocked a kick and had 1.5 tackles for loss on the year … had a season-high 10 tackles against both Emporia State and Northeastern State … all 10 tackles against Northeastern State were solo tackles … recorded two pass breakups against Emporia State … broke a fourth-quarter tie against Washburn with a 45-yard interception return touchdown … had a four-yard tackle for loss in the redzone against Pittsburg State … collected 39 of his tackles on passing plays … was also the team’s top kickoff returner … had 20 kickoff returns, which ranked second in school history, and 399 kickoff return yards, which ranked sixth … had season-high four kickoff returns against Northwest Missouri and Central Oklahoma … had a season-best 109 kickoff return yards against Fort Hays State … had a season-long 57-yard return against Fort Hays State, which helped set up a Lindenwood touchdown … finished the season with 444 all-purpose yards, which ranked fourth on the team.
 
Basketball- A member of the Lindenwood basketball team for the 2016-17 season … named to the MIAA All-Defensive team … ranked 11th in the MIAA with 1.4 steals a contest … averaged 8.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists a contest … appeared in 25 games, and started the final 16 at the point guard position … had 10 games with double-figure points, including a season-high 20 against Lincoln … just missed a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds versus Fort Hays State … other season-highs included four assists against Missouri Southern and four steals versus Lincoln … led the team in steals in a team-high 14 contests … also led the team in points in two games, in rebounds in three contests, and in assists in six games.
 
Prior to Lindenwood:

Attended Butler Community College … appeared in 11 games and made 70 tackles, including 46 solo tackles … intercepted three passes and returned two for touchdowns … also had 2.0 tackles for loss and six pass breakups.
