Brett Ballmann is in his second season as a graduate assistant on the Lindenwood football coaching staff and he has been a part of the Lindenwood program since 2005. He will be coaching the running backs in 2012.
Last season, Ballmann was an Offensive Assistant coach for a Lindenwood squad that put up over 40 points a game. The Lions averaged 367.9 total yards of offense and scored over 40 points six times. Wide receiver Andrew Helmick had one of the best seasons in school history for a wide receiver and Lindenwood quarterbacks averaged 235.7 passing yards a game. The running game averaged 132.2 yards a contest and scored 25 rushing touchdowns.
Ballmann was a backup quarterback for Lindenwood from 2005-09. He appeared in nine games as a senior and completed six passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns, and he rushed for a touchdown. Ballmann was a Student Assistant coach at Lindenwood during the 2010 season.
