Colton Meyers is in his first season on the Lindenwood football coaching staff in 2016. He is the team's tight ends coach.

Prior to coming to Lindenwood, Meyers coached tight ends for two seasons at McKendree University. He helped the Bearcats win 13 games in those two seasons, including an 8-2 record in 2015. In 2015, McKendree finished ninth in NCAA Division II in total offense (488.9 ypg), 22nd in scoring offense (38.9 ppg), and 23rd in passing yards per game (280.2 ypg).

Meyers helped coach tight end Reuben Bowlby at McKendree who was one of the most prolific pass-catching tight ends in program history. He caught 21 passes in 2014, the second-highest total by a McKendree tight end.

Meyers was also a defensive football intern at Southwest Minnesota State University for a summer, and coached the defensive line and special teams at Elverado-Trico high School for a year. At Elverado-Trico, he helped a defensive end earn honorable mention all-conference honors.
