Derik Abbott is entering his first season as the offensive quality control coach on the football staff in 2018.

Abbott was a member of the 2017 football team that went 4-7.  Prior to Lindenwood he competed at Robert Morris University from 2012-15.  Threw multiple touchdown passes in each of his first three starts.  In 2014, he compiled the second-highest completion percentage in a single-season in Robert Morris program history.

Abbott is from Orlando Fla. where he competed at Freedom High School.
