Grant Williams is in his third season as a member of the Lindenwood football coaching staff in 2019. He is assisting with the offensive line.

In 2018, the Lindenwood offense rushed for 160.6 yards and threw for 229.0 yards per game.  Williams helped mold an offensive line that aided the production of 602 yards of offense against Emporia State.  The Lions pounded the ball on the ground and rushed for 294 yards against the Hornets, earning their first win over Emporia State in program history.  Williams helped Lucas Beddow earn second-team all-MIAA honors.

In his first season at Lindenwood, he assisted with an offensive line that helped the team have its highest scoring offense since the 2012 season. The offensive line helped the Lions rushing game average 4.4 yards per carry, the seventh-best mark in the MIAA and an improvement of nearly 16 percent over the previous season. Lindenwood also cut its number of sacks allowed by 33 percent over the 2016 season. Three offensive linemen earned all-MIAA honors.
 
Williams was an offensive lineman in the NFL for nine seasons. He appeared in 122 regular season games in his career, and started 49 contests. He appeared in the Super Bowl in 2002 when his Patriots defeated the Rams by a 20-17 margin.
 
Williams started his NFL career in 1996 with Seattle, and he played four seasons for the Seahawks. He played in 40 games, and started 23 for Seattle. In 2000 and 2001, he was a member of the Patriots, appearing in 29 games and stating 12 contests. His final stop was in St. Louis as a member of the Rams from 2002-2004. He played in 37 games for the Rams and had 14 starts, including 11 in his final season.
 
Williams is originally from Clinton, Miss., and played collegiate football at Louisiana Tech.
