Marc Kolb is in his first season on the Lindenwood staff in 2016. He will serve as the team’s offensive coordinator, quarterbacks, and wide receivers coach.
 
Kolb has been a college coach for the last 21 years, including 18 seasons as an offensive coordinator. He has coached 17 All-Americans, including two Harlon Hill Finalist quarterbacks.
 
Kolb was at Tusculum College in Greeneville, Tenn., from 2007-15. He was the offensive coordinator every season, the Associate Head Coach the last eight years, and the recruiting coordinator for two seasons. He helped Tusculum set 23 NCAA Division II records, and he coached 12 All-Americans, 16 all-conference performers, three conference Offensive Players of the Year, and one conference Freshman Offensive Player of the Year. In 2008, he helped the program make its first NCAA playoff appearance, and it also won the South Atlantic Conference Championship and had its highest-ever national ranking.
 
Kolb helped coach Bo Cordell and Corey Russell, two Harlon Hill Finalist. Cordell still holds the NCAA Division II records for career total offensive yards and career passing yards. Kolb’s 2010 squad led the nation with 424.8 passing yards a game.
 
Kolb was the offensive coordinator at Missouri S&T from 2002-2006, and was the Assistant Head Coach for two years. He helped lead the Miners to their first winning season and back-to-back winning campaigns in over 20 years. His 2006 offensive lead the nation with 350.9 passing yards a game. He helped set nearly every Missouri S&T offensive record during his time there, also set or tied five MIAA records and three NCAA Division II records. While at Missouri S&T, he coached three All-Americans and 13 all-conference players.
 
From 1998-2001, Kolb was an assistant coach at Fairfield University, a NCAA FCS school in Fairfield, Conn. He was the defensive line coach his first season, the offensive coordinator from 1999-2001, and was also the assistant head coach in 2001. He helped the program go 31-11 in his four seasons at the school, and it won the 1999 MAAC Championship. Kolb coached two All-Americans and 16 all-conference players, including the school’s all-time passing and receiving leaders. His offenses ranked in the top-12 in scoring offense in the nation twice in three years, and his 1998 defense was first in the nation in total defense and rushing defense.
 
Kolb coached at the NCAA Division III level from 1995-1997. In 1997, he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Framingham State, and in 1995-96, he was the special teams coordinator, offensive line coach, and strength and conditioning coach at Curry College.
 
Kolb is a former player at Brown University from 1990-1994. He was a multiple year starter at the center position. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the school in 1994.
 
Kolb is married to Lisa Kolb, and is the father to three children, Matthew, Hannah, and William.
