Prior to Lindenwood:
Was a member of the Southern Mississippi football team from 2009-2012 … after redshirting the 2009 season, he played in 35 games over the next three years … had an 87-yard kickoff return touchdown and was named the Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Week in 2010 … caught 10 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns in 2011 … had a 90-yard touchdown reception against Marshall that season, and finished the game with five catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns … member of the 2011 team that won a conference championship and won the Hawaii Bowl … caught 20 passes for 226 yards in 2012 … finished tied for second on the team in receptions … started four games in his career, including three in his junior season.
 
High School:
Caught 12 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns as a senior … rushed two times for 33 yards … participated in the West squad on the Hillsborough All-Star game … also ran track.

The son of Dasiy Torres and Valentin Llanos … has one sibling, Joel … a sports management major.
