Lindenwood:
Career- Appeared in 18 games entering the 2014 season.

2013- Appeared in seven games as the backup left guard … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2012- Appeared in 11 games … started four contests, including the Mineral Water Bowl, at the left guard position ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2011- Redshirted ... named the team's D.R.E.A.M. award winner for the week of the Central Missouri game.

High School:
Earned third-team all-state honors as a senior at both offensive and defensive line ... third-team all-metro selection last season as an offensive lineman ... three-time all-conference selection at both positions, including first-team honors as a junior and senior.

Personal:
The son of Laurie and Joel Young ... has one sister, Jessica ... a fire and paramedic science major.
