Lindenwood:
2016- Third-team all-MIAA as a punt and kick returner … earned two team Player of the Week Awards, including the Special Teams Player of the Week for the first week of the season … started all 11 games … led the MIAA and was 34th in NCAA Division II in receptions per game … set school single-season records with 69 receptions, 6.27 receptions per game, and a 29.3 kickoff return yards average … also led the team with 1,019 all-purpose yards, 16 kickoff returns, and 469 kickoff return yards …as a receiver, had 507 receiving yards and four touchdowns … tied for the team-high with 24 receptions for that were first downs or touchdowns, including eight on third-down plays … had 14 plays of 20 yards or more, including 11 on kickoff returns and three on pass receptions … returned two punts for 33 yards, and rushed twice for 10 yards …had season-high long plays of 30 yards receiving and 73 yards on kickoff returns … had 10 receptions against both Central Oklahoma and Washburn, which ties for eighth in Lindenwood’s single-game record book … had a season-high 106 receiving yards against Central Oklahoma … recorded two touchdowns against both Central Oklahoma and Washburn … his second touchdown against Central Oklahoma, midway through the third quarter, put the Lions ahead for good … had over 100 kickoff return yards against Central Oklahoma and Emporia State … had a season-high 220 all-purpose yards versus Central Oklahoma, and had over 100 all-purpose yards in six contests … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
2015- Redshirted … named one of the Scout Team Players of the Week for the Nebraska-Kearney week … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
 
Prior to Lindenwood:
Previously played for El Camino College … second-team all-conference … was a two-year starter … rushed for nearly 1,500 yards in his two-year career, and had 10 rushing touchdowns … also caught 54 passes for 373 yards.
 
High School:
First-team all-city section … first-team all-league … rushed for 1,137 yards and 20 touchdowns … caught 30 passes for 347 yards.
 
Personal:
The son of Belinda Garner-Sparks and Kevin Sparks … has two brothers, Kavon and Tevin … an exercise science major.
