Lindenwood:
2008- A first-team All-HAAC selection as a punter ... led the HAAC and was tenth in the NAIA with a 40.3 average ... had a long punt of 72 yards .... had 38 punts and did not have one blocked ... eight punts were inside the 20, four were touchbacks, and four were fair caught.

Prior to Lindenwood:
Attended Bishop Amat High School and Citrus College.

Personal:
The son of Fred and Lorraine Somes ... has one brother, Tyler ... a fire science major with a business minor.
