Brie Johnson is in her third year at Lindenwood University in 2024-2025 after joining the staff in January of 2022. Currently, Brie serves as the Athletic Performance Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Rugby teams, Women’s Volleyball, and Beach Volleyball teams and assists with Football. Â
Prior to joining the staff at Lindenwood, Brie spent the Fall 2021 season at the University of Maryland where she was a Strength and Conditioning intern with the Football team there. She assisted with all aspects of strength and conditioning while there, including practice and game days. She also programmed and supervised training sessions for the Maryland Cheerleading Squad. Â
Before her time at Maryland, Brie spent the summer of 2021 at Spearfish High School in South Dakota where she programmed and coached over 100 high school and middle school athletes. Leading up to her position at Spearfish, Brie was a Graduate Assistant for the Strength and Conditioning department at Southeast Missouri State University from 2019-2021, where she earned her Masters of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science. During her time at SEMO, Brie assisted with Football Strength and Conditioning including lifts, running, practice, and game day operations. She also designed and implemented all aspects of strength and conditioning for Softball, Women’s Tennis, and Women’s Gymnastics.Â
Brie began her career in the field at North Dakota State University as a Strength and Conditioning Intern. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health, Exercise Science from Iowa State University in 2019. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has her USA Weightlifting Level One Coaching Certification.Â
