Krysta Streisel

Krysta Streisel was named the Lion Line assistant coach in July 2018 and continues to serve as a Lionettes assistant coach, a position to which she was named in March 2017. 

Streisel began dancing when she was just two-and-a-half years old.  At the age of four, she started dancing competitively at Dance Productions Unlimited in Arnold, Missouri. In her young dance career, she received many accolades in both the solo and group competitive categories.

Streisel was a member of the Seckman Varsity Dance Team during her four years of high school. Her freshman year, she helped the team earn a State Champion title in the Missouri State Dance Team Championships and a third place finish the following year. She served as co-captain her junior year and captain her senior year when they placed second at the National Dance Alliance National Championships in Orlando, Florida.

Streisel continued her education at Lindenwood University where she spent four years performing and competing with the Lion Line Dance Team. While on the squad, Lion Line won three of the program’s seven national championship titles. During her college career, she also co-choreographed for high school dance teams, including the nationally ranked Fort Zumwalt West Varsity Dance Team.

Streisel graduated from Lindenwood University in May 2015 with her Bachelor of Science in Marketing. She now continues choreographing for high school dance teams and is currently an instructor at Rokita Dance Center in St. Peters, Missouri.
