Biography
Lindenwood:
2015-16- Earned the team’s Most Improved Award … appeared in all 30 games, and started three contests, including both MIAA Tournament games … was the top guard off the bench for the second straight year, averaging 6.4 points a game … second on the team with 17 steals … also had 52 rebounds, 28 assists, and five blocks … was second on the team with 36 three-pointers … had the best assist-to-turnover ratio on the team with a 1.47 mark … tied for the team-high in points at Nebraska-Kearney with 14 … led or tied for the team-high in steals in 10 contests … had seven double-figure scoring games … had at least one three-pointer in 21 contests … had a season-high 16 points in the first round of the MIAA Tournament, making six-of-eight shots from the field … other season-highs included two games with five rebounds, three assists against Pittsburg State, and three steals versus Northeastern State.
2014-15- Appeared in all 29 games and had one start … was the top guard off the bench and averaged 6.6 points and 1.1 assists a game … was second on the team with 21 steals …. fourth on the squad with 35 three-pointers made … recorded 19 rebounds and two blocks … shot 45.8 percent from the field, 43.2 percent from three-point range, and 76.5 percent from the free-throw line … had five games with double-figure points … recorded a season-high 14 points against Central Oklahoma after hitting five-of-seven from the field and three-of-four from three-point range … also had a season-high five assists in that game … scored at least two points in every game throughout the season … hit a season-best three three-pointers in four games … led or tied for the team-high in assists in four games, in steals in seven contests, and in blocks once … hit a pair of free throws with nine seconds left to seal the five-point home win over Missouri Southern.
Prior to Lindenwood:
Attended Texas Pan-American ... scored nine points with two assists and a steal against Texas-San Antonio … after playing 17 minutes without scoring in parts of four of the Broncs’ first six games, led all scorers with a career-high 17 points while going 5-for-9 from the field, including 5-for-8 from behind the arc, plus 2-for-2 from the line, with first rebound and two assists in 21 minutes at Texas-San Antonio in the highest scoring output by a Broncs freshman since Mar. 6, 2010.
High School:
Attended Marist ... as a senior, earned All-Conference and All-Area accolades as well as All-State Honorable Mention and All-State Player of the Week honors … averaged 18.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.1 steals while earning All-Conference and All-State Honorable Mention as a junior while leading the Red Hawks to a 23-7 record and the No. 21 ranking in Illinois … key member of D-Rose All-Stars, a perennial powerhouse in Chicago AAU basketball.
