Prior to LU: Played for the Blind Rivers Beavers of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL)...led all Blind River defensemen in assists with seven goals and 18 helpers in 48 games and named first team all-star and the NOJHL Defenseman of the Year during the 2012-13 season. Split the 2011-12 campaign between the Blind River and the Kanata Stallions of the Central Canada Hockey League (CCHL)... posted a goal and an assist in 27 games for the Beavers and recorded 3 assists in 16 games with the Stallions...
