Sean Meagher

Sean Meagher is in his second season in 2016 as a graduate assistant coach for the Lindenwood men's lacrosse team.

Last year, Meagher was a part of a coaching staff for the top team in program history. Lindenwood went 14-4 overall and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in program history. Over the summer, Meagher played professionally in Major League Lacrosse for the Charlotte Hounds.

Meagher graduated from Robert Morris University in 2014 with a major in accounting and finance. He was a participant for the Division 1 men’s lacrosse program during his four years there. During the 2013 season, Meagher helped lead the team to the NEC Championship as its starting long stick midfielder. That season he was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Year, the NEC Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and was a member of the NEC all-tournament team. 

The following year, Meagher finished his senior year leading NCAA Division I lacrosse in caused turnovers as well as setting the Robert Morris career and single-season record. He was an USILA Scholar All-American, a Lowe’s Senior Award semi-finalist, and Robert Morris’s Presidential Scholar-Athlete of the year.
