Dr. Glodi Konga enters his first season as the Men's Soccer Associate Head Coach at Lindenwood University, bringing experience across NCAA Division I, NAIA, and the professional game.
Konga previously worked as Associate Head Coach at Liberty University. He also served as Assistant Coach and Academy Director for Sarasota Paradise in USL League One, helping oversee player development within a professional environment.
Before those roles, Konga founded the men's soccer program at New College of Florida, where he served as the inaugural Head Men's Soccer Coach and Assistant Athletic Director. He built the program from the ground up, establishing its culture, recruiting its first student-athletes, and leading the team through its inaugural seasons.
Konga holds a Ph.D. in Sports Leadership and is widely recognized for his expertise in player development, culture building, and recruiting. He possesses multiple coaching qualifications, including the UEFA B License and USSF B License.
Throughout his career, Konga has been committed to developing the whole student-athlete by emphasizing excellence in competition, academic success, leadership, and character. His coaching philosophy centers on creating a high-performance environment that prepares players to succeed both on the field and in life.
