    Field Hockey Head Coach
Meg Lake is in her second season as the head coach of the Lindenwood field hockey team.

In 2009, her team finished with a record of 6-5 and closed the season with three straight wins. The team also beat NCAA Division I, St. Louis,1-0 during the regular season.

Before being named the head coach Lake served one year as an assistant coach for the program, helping the Lady Lions go 9-5 overall in 2008.

Lake comes to Lindenwood from Ohio State University, where she graduated in 2005. At Ohio State, she was a four-year letterwinner for the Buckeyes. She helped the team win the Big Ten conference and tournament championships in 2001. That year, her team was ranked as high as fourth in the nation and it earned a NCAA Tournament bid.

Lake also has previous coaching experience at Olentangy Liberty High School in Lewis Center, Ohio, where she helped lead the team to their best record in school history.

Lake is a native of St. Louis, Mo. and attended high school at Villa Duchesne where she was a St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Metro selection in 1999 and 2000. She was also a member of the Team Gateway and was selected to the National Futures Tournament.
