Nick Baldecchi is entering his second season as the assistant coach of the Lindenwood men's volleyball team in 2023.
Baldecchi helped lead the Lindenwood men's volleyball program to an 8-14 record during his first season as the Lions' assistant coach in the spring of 2022. Among Lindenwood's wins were upset victories over both Lewis and Ohio State, who was ranked No. 9 at the time of the thrilling 3-2 win in Hyland Arena. Lindenwood also picked up a pair of victories at its own invitational, knocking off both Limestone and Lincoln Memorial in five sets in early March. Baldecchi also guided and supported Lindenwood standouts A.J. Lewis and Diego Negron during their All-MIVA award-winning 2022 seasons.
Baldecchi joins the staff after recently serving as an assistant coach for the Fort Zumwalt South boys’ volleyball program, helping to lead them to a state semi-final appearance. Prior to assisting with the Bulldogs, he served as the varsity boys coach at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, Calif.
He competed for the University of San Diego as a setter from 2005-08, and was also selected as a captain. From 2002-05, Baldecchi also competed for Santa Barbara City College.
