Lindenwood:
Career- Has played in 11 games entering the 2014 season … has recorded 16 tackles, including five tackles for loss and three sacks.

2013- Appeared in nine games and started the final game of the season … recorded 14 tackles on the season … had three tackles for loss and one sack … all three tackles for loss came against Missouri S&T, including a sack in which he forced a fumble recovered by Lindenwood … had a season-high five solo tackles and six total tackles against Pittsburg State … had 13 tackles on rushing plays … collected 10 solo tackles … received the team’s Blue Collar award against Emporia State … named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll … a NCAA Division II All-American wrestler after finishing third at the national championships.

2012- Did not play in any games.

2011- Appeared in two games ... had two tackles, both of them sacks ... also a member of Lindenwood's wrestling team.

2010- A member of Lindenwood's wrestling team.

High School:
Three-time Section 9 champion in wrestling ... two-time state placer ... runner-up in the junior national tournament ... first place in Ohio Tournament of Champions.

Personal:
The son of Gary and Diane Butler ... has two brothers, Kevin and Jason... a physical education major.
